Day 1 – Delhi Day Tour Sightseeing

You will first visit the Red Fort post your breakfast. The majestic Red Fort is now serving as the ceremonial palace from where prime minister of the country addresses the nation on Independence Day and on the Republic day every year. Listed among UNESCO world heritage site the fort is one of the finest monuments of Mughal heritage.

Later you would be travelling to Jama Masjid which is the oldest and the largest Indian mosque of India. The mosque was built during the reign of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. This beautiful divine place is open every day except the prayers hours of the day.

Then you will take a tour to Tomb of Humayun. It is one of the most important monuments which were built during Akbar’s reign. It is this monument only which was captured by the British in 1857.

By the noon you will be visiting to a fine restaurant and enjoy your scrumptious lunch. Then you will be again started with the sightseeing in Delhi. Later you will be visiting some of the beautiful Delhi attractions such as Laxmi Narayan temple, President’s house, Parliament house, Birla temple and many more places.
