1. Alappuzha Beach

It is one of the major tourist attractions that one can visit. The beach is also comprises with a small park in its vicinity. While your visit at the beach you can enjoy the ruins of Alappuzha Sea Bridge which was the part of the most significant Alappuzha port in Kerala.

The beach is a perfect place for shooting movies, be it Bollywood or Tamil, many movies have been shot here. The beach is also the home for many exotic animals and birds, watching those will be pleasing experience for you.

2. Alappuzha Lighthouse

Another tourist attraction nestle near Alappuzha beach is Alappuzha Lighthouse. The lighthouse was built in 1862 and it is open for travellers for all days of the week. The lighthouse is open from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM every year. To enter in the lighthouse one has to give a nominal charge of 10 Rs as entry fee. 150 year old is historical monuments is perfect place to travel.

3. Ambalappuzha Sri Krishna Temple

Built by the Chembakasserry Pooradam Thirunal Devanarayanan Thampuran, the local ruler of the then Alleppey, Sri Krishna Temple is a prominent tourist attraction of the city. It was built during the period of 15th to 17th AD. During the reign of Tipu Sultan, the idol of Lord Krishna brought here for conservation. The idol holds a whip in one hand and the Shank(sacred Conch) in the other hand.
